Wayne was a good friend.  After graduating from Irvin he helped me get a job at a fast food restaurant.  We worked together along with Andy Waner . Wayne  enjoyed music and after I traded a stoned musician food for an acoustic guitar, he learned to play guitar..   I didn't play guitar at the time but Wayne always encouraged me to learn because of my love for music.  After his passing I learn to play guitar as a tribute to Wayne.  If anyone is interested in the facts sorrounding his passing while on Patrol in Viet Nam, he is mentioned in  https://www.amazon.com/Sappers-Wire-Firebase-Williams-Ford-University/dp/1585446432.  I have a copy in paperback..  It is yellowed from age but I will lend it out.   Please contact me with an address and I will send it.
